It's based around the concept of "being lost in the universe". It is a lonely and unreal virtual world, players will traverse through interconnected zones through a non-linear way. The unsettling surroundings is itself a story.
Each area has the theme (story) along with puzzles, and characters which are vital in the creation of a unified world. In the game, you'll discover new places as well as acquire new skill sets such as weapons, different items and work to make sense of what you see.
GAMEPLAY Features
A cohesive "lived-in" world- Scorn occurs in an open-ended universe with diverse interconnected regions. Each area is a maze-like design with different spaces and routes to walk through. Everything is done in-game and there are no cut-scenes that divert you from the gruesome life-like alive world that you're playing. Be aware and the game will not give the slightest remorse if you fail to notice something vital in your chaotic travels. Each and every thing serves a function - it's just up to you figure out what it is.
Full body awareness- Users feel more immersed and aware of the character's physique and movements. It is authentic - objects are taken in fingers (instead of being floating on the air) Machines and instruments operate by grasping the controls.
Inventory and management of ammo is determined and limited. It's a major factor to keep the player in a greater state of mind throughout the game. It is imperative for players be aware of when to combat and when they should take cover . They will also have to consider how their actions influence the world around them.
